Before William and Christina came to compile these videos, William made a completely different video on 6th January 2011 (the twelfth day of Christmas), in memory of Tony Cortese and Becca Grammer (Wiliam’s cousin who died, tragically at only 53, two days before Tony). This video comprises a series of William’s movement images primarily of Italian cathedrals, set to ‘Libera Me’ from Verdi’s Requiem. The operatic nature of this performance seemed appropriate, as does the dog (which, in the video, represents the Divine Being) because Becca was devoted to her dogs, and of course Tony loved Anise.
